Abstract

The title of the Oxford conference of the World Public Health Nutrition Association was 'Building healthy global food systems: A new imperative for public health'. One of its aims was to build on the progress made during the 2012 WPHNA conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which produced the Rio2012 Declaration on the themes of knowledge, policy and action. This report summarises key themes of the conference and outlines key points made in the presentations.
